Our partner is seeking an Operations Manager with Division 28/Security Integration experience to join their Houston, TX location. The Operations Manager will oversee the office staff, including Field Project Managers, Technicians, Office Personnel, and Project Engineers. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Houston office, including Operations, Installation, Project Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Relations, and Administration.
- Support Sales tasks and efforts.
- Work with Team Leads to ensure all staff are meeting performance expectations based on individual job responsibilities.
- Address performance and other related issues as required.
- Ensure that projects assigned to team members are completed on time and within scope, following a standardized process.
- Manage the labor force in line with budget and operating results.
- Collaborate directly with in-house resources, third-party vendors, and clients.
- Maintain a professional and courteous work environment, offering guidance, suggestions, and strategies to team members.
- Provide input to the management team for important or critical decision-making.
- Review, maintain, respond to, and update all information requests.
- Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on other ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience in the door, frames, hardware, and security integration (Division 28) industry.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
- Sales Management experience is desired.
- PMI certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills are essential.
